The Grand Hotel in Folkestone, Kent was built approximately in 1900 and is steeped in history and has been associated with many famous people over the years. Nowadays, amongst other functions it caters for, it is Folkestone's largest, oldest, "grandest" and arguably the best civil wedding and reception venue in Folkestone. The best description of the place is in the name itself! 
The beautiful promenade of The leas in Folkestone, Kent, showing The Grand Hotel towards the bottom left corner. For wedding photography, The Grand hosts very large and funnily enough, "grand" [!] function rooms with large windows - and therefore offer a good source of natural light. Plenty of atmosphere and features around the The Grand put the icing on the cake for photographers! Outdoors, a large garden, steps, views of The Grand, The Leas, the Folkestone beaches and the English Channel provide plenty of opportunites for the discerning photographer.
