The photo studio is just a 5 minute walk from Folkestone town centre or 1 minute from Folkestone Central Railway Station. Kingsnorth Gardens is situated immediately behind and on the south side of Folkestone Central Railway Station. Limited parking is also available. Located just 5 minutes from Hythe, 10 mins. from Dover, 15 mins. from Ashford, 25 mins. from Canterbury and 30 mins. from Maidstone.
1. Follow M20 to the 2nd junction for Folkestone - J13.
2. At end of slip road, turn right at mini-roundabout, crossing over motorway to the main roundabout - turn right.
3. Go straight on for 1 mile [Cherry Garden Ave.] to traffic lights at crossroads, taking the middle lane to go straight across.
4. Go under railway bridge, following the road [Shorncliffe Rd.] around to the left and continue for approx. half a mile until you reach a roundabout.
5. Turn left into Castle Hill Avenue and after 50yds [opposite the United Reformed Church], turn left into Kingsnorth Gardens.
6. No. 14 is on the R.H.S., after approx. 50yds. Usually there is a spare car parking space on the forecourt or alternatively you may park on the white line. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to ring me on 01303 243935.

A booking fee is charged for all wedding photography. This fee is deducted (in full) from the total price on completion of the contract. The booking fee is non-returnable in the event of cancellation by the Client. Should notice of cancellation be received by the Photographer less than twelve weeks prior to the appointment, the Client shall pay the Photographer an additional sum equal to 50% of the balance as specified overleaf. The said sum shall be payable as compensation it being an agreed estimate of the loss the Photographer would suffer. The balance of fees due is to be paid one week prior to the wedding at the latest.


If a photography booking is cancelled by the customer within seven days of the appointment, or the customer does not arrive for their appointment, a fee equal to 50% of the sum due must be paid to compensate for the loss of work, unless the appointment is postponed by mutual agreement.


It is anticipated that most orders will be collected in person or sent electronically. However, for orders required to be sent to a UK mainland address, this can be arranged with either the Royal Mail or a courier company. Please ask for these charges before completing your order.

Customer Care Statement

1. Alan Duncan adheres to the following Code of Professional Conduct.

2. Clients will be treated with courtesy and fairness at all times.

3. All goods supplied are covered by a statutory guarantee for 12 months: in the event of a claim for faulty goods it is at the photographers discretion to repair or replace the faulty goods to the clients satisfaction.

4. All goods supplied will be of a ‘satisfactory and saleable condition’ as specified in the Sale of Goods Act.

5. Any complaint regarding goods or services must be made in writing to the photographer within 21 days of receipt of the completed goods. The photographer will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 5 working days and will endeavour to reach a final resolution within one month.

6. Any complaint made after 21 days may be considered unreasonable within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act.

7. All further orders from an original order will be treated as an extension of Terms and Conditions of business of the photographer.
